Larry C. Ely, 78, husband for 55 years to Susan (Caddick) Ely, of Arcadia Road, Hope Valley, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2021.

Born in Kenyon, RI, he was the son of the late Harry and Clara Ely.

Larry served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a Bus Driver for the Chariho School District until his retirement. Larry worshipped at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Larry will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a strong work ethic and a big heart.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Susan; their three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen Jones, Joy Keener, Ted Rhodes, Tracy and Joseph Campagna III; six grandchildren, Timothy, Zachary, Brandon and Jeffrey Jones, Shane Keener and Teddi Rhodes; as well as two great-grandchildren, Carson and Cora-Lee. Larry is also survived by three brothers and two sisters.
