Obituary for John E. Farrar Sr.
John E. Farrar, Sr., 70, of Potter Hill Road, Westerly, passed away peacefully at The Westerly Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Keena) Farrar.
Born in Bath, Maine, he was the son of the late Elwin Farrar and May (Lord) Goggin.
John worked as a machinist for Electric Boat in Groton for many years until his retirement and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. John enjoyed working on cars in his free time.
John was a loving and devoted father who will be dearly missed by his three children, John E. Farrar, Jr. of N. Stonington, and Jeffrey A. Farrar and Jaclyn K. Farrar, both of Westerly. He also leaves three sisters, June Farrar, Jane Kay, both of Franklin, VA and Linda Ravenelle of Voluntown, CT, Gene Farrar (deceased), many nieces nephews and three grandchildren.
