Obituary for Norma L. Dolce
Norma (Jackson) Dolce, 87, of Ashaway, RI, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at South County Hospital.
She was born in Selma, California to the late Buel and Edith Jackson.
Norma was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Frank Dolce. She leaves behind her three beloved sons, Steven (Daryl) Dolce of Ashaway, William (Paige) Dolce of Glastonbury, CT and James (Tammy) Dolce of Willington, CT; six grandchildren, Eric (Elana) Dolce, Ryan (Cassandra) Dolce, Jason (Bree) Dolce, Kenneth (Jess) Dolce, Kyle Dolce and Austyn Dolce; six great-grandchildren, Michael, Annabelle, AJ, Jack, Natalie, and Naomi.
She is also survived by her sister Deborah (Jack) Hediger of Livingston, CA and brother-in-law Thomas (Marilyn) Dolce of Westerly; as well as several nieces and nephews. Norma was predeceased by her sisters, Louise, Donna and Velda.
Norma graduated from San Jose High School in San Jose, California. She worked for years as a clerk at Finast in Pawcatuck and Scott’s in Westerly where she met many lifelong friends.
She loved traveling with her friends to Europe, visiting Germany, France and Austria. She also enjoyed cruises traveling to the Caribbean several times.
The family wishes to thank Brookdale South Bay for all the great care mom received over the last two years.
