Obituary for Robert L. Fournier Jr.
Robert L. Fournier, Jr. beloved husband of Jean (Poirier) Fournier, of Granite Street, Westerly, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 90.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert L., Sr. and Emma Fournier.
Robert was the owner and chief financial officer of the former Bancroft Sporting Goods Company until his retirement. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a communicant at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three children, Bruce Fournier of Miami, FL, Scott Fournier of Seekonk, MA and Diane Heitmiller of Concord, NH; a stepson Timothy Beauregard of Westerly; six grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
