Obituary for Nellie N. Riley (Sposato)
Nellie N. Riley, 90, of Pawcatuck, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at The Westerly Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Cornelius A. Riley, Jr. in 2008. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Debra (Holt) Riley of Stonington.
Nellie was born in Westerly, the daughter of the late Antonio and Bomina Sposato. In addition to her husband, Nellie was also predeceased by her four brothers and four sisters.
Nellie enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for the holidays. She loved to entertain and play corn hole and bocce games at her summer picnics. She enjoyed her time spent at the Westerly Senior Center playing shuffle board and at TOPS.
Her family would like to thank her caregiver Michele Moore and the nurses at The Westerly Hospital for their great care.
