Obituary for Joshua E. Sylvia
Joshua E. Sylvia, beloved fiancé of Lacey Roy, of Mason Road, Brooklyn, CT, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2021 at the age of 44.
Born in Westerly, he was the cherished son Deborah Sylvia and Michael Collins of Pawcatuck.
Joshua was employed as a warehouse manager for the J.F. Petro Group. He enjoyed golfing and was a member at Foster Country Club. He also played softball in Killingly and was an avid NY Yankees, Duke basketball and Miami Dolphin fan.
In addition to Lacey and his parents, Deborah and Michael, he will be sadly missed by his two sons, Lucas Sylva and Connor Sylvia, both of Sturbridge, Mass, Lacey’s two children, Lilly Verraneault and Brody Dexter; and two sisters, Lindsey Collins of Pawcatuck and Stephanie Collins of San Diego, CA. Joshua is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Judy Sylvia of Pawcatuck. His beloved Boxer, Duke, also survives him. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Catherine and Vincent Sardo, as well as his uncle Stephen Sylvia.
