Obituary for Lon M. Lauterio
Lon M. Lauterio, 66, passed away unexpectedly at the Westerly Hospital on May 5, 2021. Lon is the beloved son of Helena Lauterio of North Stonington, CT and the late Giovanni Lauterio.
Lon was an active communicant of St. Pius X Church where he had served as both eucharistic minister and an usher. He was also currently a member and the treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Council 21.
He is survived by his son John Lauterio of New York City, 2 brothers, Thomas of Trappe, PA, and Todd of Greenville, SC, and his sister Lee Bridgewater of North Stonington, CT. He will also be missed by his 2 grandsons Luca and Nico, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pius X Church, 45 Elm Street, Westerly, RI, on Monday, May 10th at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private.
