Obituary for Stella Fryer (Arico)
Stella M. Fryer, 88, beloved wife of the late Wayne H. Fryer for 65 years, of North Stonington, CT, died peacefully at home on June 6, 2021.
Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Annunziata Arico.
Stella worked at Norwich Savings Bank for many years as a Bookkeeper. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
She leaves her 5 children, Diana L. Thompson (Keith), Geraldine A. Fryer, Janet Fiore (William), Marie Zullo (Ronald), and Ronald Fryer (Cynthia). Stella will also be deeply missed by her 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, as well as and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Etta Beraducci and Josephine Arico.
Visiting hours are omitted. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Moore Church, 87 Mystic Rd., North Stonington, CT on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s foundation (www.parkinson.org) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (PO Box 50, Memphis TN 38101-9929 or stjude.org/donatetoday) in Stella’s memory.
