Obituary for Diane Marie Reifinger (Bowman)
Diane Marie (Bowman) Reifinger passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at L&M Hospital in New London, CT. Diane was born in Walnutport, PA and graduated from Slatington High School in 1970. She was a Class Officer, basketball player and cheerleader. She was a devoted mother and wife for over 30 years. Diane worked for Medline Industries, the US Postal Service, and then as a Flight Attendant for US Airways/Air Wisconsin Airlines before retiring in 2017.
She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, family and playing Bingo with her friends. Diane was also involved with her children’s sports teams as a coach and board member. She was a Member of the Slatington American Legion women’s auxiliary, Skeet Club and Emerald Fire Company. She had a great sense of humor and always made people smile.
Diane moved to Germansville, PA in 1997, then to Antonito, CO from 2019-2020. She lived the remainder of her life in Westerly, RI
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Arlene Bowman, and brother Wesley Bowman Jr. She is survived by her daughter Heather Reifinger; her son Donovan Reifinger and his wife Amanda; grandchildren, Weston and Veronica; sister Barbara Todd and her husband Howard (Buzz); and nephews, Wesley Bowman III, Steven and Russel Todd.
