So hard to believe. I remember Karen as funny, easy going and especially happy. I remember her parents that way, too. She was in touch with me this past year and I was struck by her positive outlook and determination. She loved her son to the moon and back. She inspired me, really. I also remember Karen as being a very good friend to so many students at RISD. My heartfelt condolences to her whole family and especially Timothy. 🙏🏽🤟🏽

I worked with Karen for a short time at Electric Boat. She was a pleasure to work with and was a kind soul on that was taken too soon. My condolences to her family and friends. Rest in Peace Karen.

Our hearts break for you Paula, Curly, Steve, Leslie and family. Karen was always so sweet. She was one of those very special people in life who struggled with a handicap in such a gracious way. She was always a pleasure to work with and always so appreciative. She always had a smile no matter how she was feeling. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. We are here for you and ready to help in any way we can.
