William A. Edgar, Sr., of Henry Street, Westerly, passed away at Westerly Hospital on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 83. He was the husband of the late Mary (Luzzi) Edgar.

Born in Stonington, he was the son of the late Edward and Lillian Edgar.

William owned and operated Edgar Custom Printing for years until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing and was a member at Laurel Lane Country Club in W. Kingston. He was also an avid bowler in his younger days and a Red Sox fan.

He leaves behind his three children, Susan A. McGuire and Traci E. Weber and husband Wayne, all of Westerly, and William A. Edgar, Jr and wife Tammy of Ashaway; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his son-in-law Michael McGuire; and six siblings.

Visiting hours are omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. on Tuesday at St. Pius X Church, 45 Elm St., Westerly. Burial will be private.
