Obituary for Walter N. Thomas Jr.
Walter N. Thomas, Jr., 87, devoted husband of Makyal L. Thomas, of Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Friday, September 24, 2021.
Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Walter, Sr. and Adele Thomas.
Walter was a machine operator for George C. Moore Company for many years. He was a US Navy Veteran.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his two children, Robert E. Thomas of Westerly and Debbie Irwin of Hope Valley; three grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by two brothers, David and Richard Thomas, and his sister Sarah Crapps.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at River Bend Cemetery, Westerly. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
