Obituary for Richard J. Lucy
Richard J. “Dicky” Lucy, 70, of Palmer Street, Pawcatuck, CT, passed away on November 21, 2021 at home. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Donahue) Lucy. Richard was born in New London, CT, the son of the late John and Mildred Lucy.
Richard was a Chemical Operator at Pfizer for many years. He was a life member of the German Club in Mystic and also a member of the American Legion. Dicky was a lifelong New York Yankee fan as well as accomplished water skier.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Lucy, and step sons Eric and Paul Johns. Dicky also leaves his siblings, Robert Lucy, Judith Barber, Deborah Burke, Kathy Alfonso, John Lucy, and James Lucy. He will be missed by his granddaughter Ali Marchand, and grandson Jake Johns. Richard was predeceased by his step daughter Kelly Marchand.
