On December 15, 2021, Sylvia T. Reyes traded her crown in for a halo at the age of 57 at The Westerly Hospital. Sylvia was born in New York City, NY to the late Andrew Reyes and Argentina Tome Reyes. Sylvia was wholeheartedly supported by Perspectives Corporation for 30 years, residing for the past 4 years at the Langworthy Group Home.

For those who were blessed to know Sylvia, you know that she was a gracious woman who was always ready to give you a big smile and invite you over for dinner. Sylvia proudly wore one of her beautiful crowns every day and loved to remind those around her that even though she was the queen, you were always her princess/prince.

Sylvia loved to go for her cruises around town while rocking and rolling to her favorite songs with her friends and staff.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Reyes and her mother, Argentina. Sylvia is survived by her brothers, Antonio “Tony” Reyes, Manuel “Manny” Reyes, and her sister Caridad “Carie” Reyes; along with multiple nieces and nephews and all of her caregivers and friends at the Langworthy Group Home.
