Obituary for Marianne T. Kapfer (Christman)
Marianne T. (Christman) Kapfer, of Laurel Avenue, Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the age of 84. She was the wife of the late William F. Kapfer.
Marianne worked as a dental receptionist for Dr. Hotchkiss for many years and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Marianne enjoyed gardening and playing cards.
She will be dearly missed by her four children, Donald J. Kapfer, John F. Kapfer, Robert W. Kapfer and wife Maria, and Stephen J. Kapfer and wife Christine; and two brothers, William and Frederick Christman. Three grandchildren, Robert, Mathew and Joseph, and several nieces and nephews also survive her.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly.
