Obituary for Lawrence "Larry" DeSantos
Lawrence “Larry” DeSantos, beloved husband for 54 years of Linda (Johnson) DeSantos, of Wicklow Road, Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the age of 75.
Born in Taunton, Mass., he was the son of the late Floyd and Mary “Sal” DeSantos.
Larry was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Bridgton Academy in Maine and then Syracuse University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. He worked as the Regional Sales Manager for Jostens for over 30 years until his retirement and he was a member of the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society and the Calabrese Society.
In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by three children, Matthew L. DeSantos and wife Kelly of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Jonathan M. DeSantos and wife Erin of Centreville, MD and Michael F. DeSantos and wife Jeanne of Annopolis, MD; his sister Mary Munroe of Westerly; and six grandchildren.
Visiting hours are omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare Church, 62 Crandall Ave., Misquamicut at 10am on Thursday.
