Obituary for Marie A. Algiere
Marie A. Algiere, 61, of Batterson Avenue, Westerly, passed away Tuesday evening, April 19th, 2022.
Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Angelo R. and Domenica Algiere.
Marie spent most of her life working as a General Manager for the Mangen Restaurant Group.
She loved spending time outdoors. She especially loved spending time in her pool, birdwatching, feeding squirrels and other occasional visitors in her backyard wildlife habitat which she was very proud of. Most of all she loved just being with her family.
Marie is survived by her sister, Angela C. Eagan along with her brother-in-law and beloved friend Bruce G. Eagan of Westerly; her first cousins, Angelo Adimari of Westerly, and Renato Adimari of Ashaway; several second cousins; Goddaughter Rosa Adimari; and her dearest and best friend Maria Ferraro of Westerly. She was predeceased by her aunt Assunta Adimari and first cousin Dora Rizzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday at 10a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly in Marie’s memory.
