Edna A. (Miles) Garcia, 82, beloved wife for 60 years of Eduardo V. Garcia, of Mystic, CT, passed away at her daughter’s home with family by her side in Westerly on Mother’s Day, Friday May 8, 2022.

Born in Upper Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Miles.

Edna worked in property management and later retired from Hartford Hospital as a billing agent. She enjoyed traveling the world with her beloved husband, especially to Spain. They were accomplished snow skiers and traveled to Europe extensively to ski. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was always the life of the party.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Eduardo; their two children, Antony N. Garcia of Florida and Sarah E. Miller of Westerly; two grandchildren, William R. Waddington of Westerly Sarah E. Coons of Griswold, CT; and 4 great-grandchildren, McKenna, Ryan, Luca and Nicholas. Edna was predeceased by her son-in-law Brian K. Miller; and 4 brothers; Walter, Victor, Robert and Joseph Miles.
