Obituary for Marie Bennett (Smith)
Marie (Smith) Bennett, of Pierce Street, Westerly, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the age of 70.
Born in Branford, Conn., she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Geneva Smith.
Marie worked as a cashier for Family Dollar. She will be dearly missed by her three children, George Smith of Westerly, Gary Smith and wife Tracy of Westerly, and Crystal Smith of Pawcatuck; her brother Clint Smith of Westerly; and two sisters, May Goins and Shirley Goins, both of Pawcatuck. Marie is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
