Natale Angelo Urso, 94, of Old Juniper Lane, Westerly, passed away at Apple Rehab Clipper on Thursday, June 23, 2022. He was the husband of the late Mary E. “Betty” (Shea) Urso.

Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary A. Urso.

Natale worked as a public accountant and was a communicant of St. Pius X Church. He was a life member of the Westerly BPOE #678.

Natale served as president of the Westerly Town Council from 1974 - 1976

Natale will be dearly missed by his six children, David M. Urso, Daniel J. Urso, Dennis C. Urso, Kathy A. Lyford, Lori G. Kennedy and Nate D. Urso; as well as two siblings, Michael Urso of Westerly and the late Elanor Knowles of Pawcatuck. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.


Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
