Obituary for MaryAnn McGuire
MaryAnn McGuire of New London, CT, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
Born in Westerly, she was the beloved daughter of Celina (Lenihan) McGuire of Pawcatuck and the late Joseph J. McGuire.
MaryAnn was a dedicated social worker for the State of Connecticut and lovingly committed her life to the service of others through numerous initiatives, including volunteering at a local food bank and Haitian missions.
In addition to her mother, she leaves five siblings, Reverend Bonaventure McGuire, Ann Toppino (John), Kathleen Tanner, Thomas McGuire (Jena), and Kristin Basso (Stephen). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who she deeply cherished and to whom she devoted her love. MaryAnn is predeceased by her brother Kevin McGuire. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Mary Church, 95 Main Street, Stonington, CT at 10AM on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Burial will follow at River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach Street, Westerly, RI.
