Obituary for John G. Stannard
John G. Stannard, beloved husband for 52 years of Paulette (Patterson) Stannard, of Wildflower Drive, Westerly, passed away at Royal Westerly Nursing Home on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the age of 74.
Born in Montpelier, VT, he was the son of the late Donald and Arlene Stannard.
John worked as the Radiology Manager at Westerly Hospital for 35 years. He enjoyed golfing, playing Cribbage and Pitch. He had served in the National Guard. The most important aspect of his life was spending time with his family.
He leaves behind his wife Paulette; their two children, J. Christopher Stannard and wife Kayla and Douglas W. Stannard, all of Westerly; two grandchildren, Stephen G. and Christian E. Stannard; his sister Kathy Blanchard of Willsboro, NY; and two nephews, Michael and Ryan Blanchard.
