Obituary for Jane M. Atherton
Jane M. Atherton, 71, of Westerly, R.I., passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022, after a recent cancer diagnosis.
Jane was born in Westerly, R.I., the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Atherton. She graduated from St Bernard Catholic High School and Central Connecticut State University. Jane managed Atherton & Sons Moving and Storage, the family-owned business, for 25 years, before her retirement. She took great pride in her home and enjoyed decorating and gardening.
Jane is survived by her loving twin sister, Jean Morosini, of Westerly and her 5 nephews, who all held a special place in her heart, Lance Morosini (Tim), Kevin Morosini (Erika), Sean Connell, Reid Connell, and Chip Connell. She treasured her over 55 year friendship with Pamela and Michelle. Jane was predeceased by her sister Jill Connell.
