Obituary for Maryann C. Cozzolino (Celico)

Maryann (Celico) Cozzolino, loving wife for 60 years of Louis A. Cozzolino, of Eddy Drive, Westerly, passed away peacefully, at the Westerly Hospital on Sunday, September 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 84.

Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Annie Celico.

She was the co-owner of Westerly Cabinet Company for years. A member of the Legion of Mary and the morning prayer group, Maryann was also a communicant of St. Pius X Church. She enjoyed playing competitive family solitaire, reading, cooking and baking, especially at Christmas time.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Louis; their two children, Anne M. Warner and Carmine Christopher Cozzolino and his wife Kerri, all of Westerly; three grandchildren, Robert A. Warner II (Elizabeth), Hunter R.E. Warner (Giovanna), and Connor Louis Warner; and three great-grandchildren, Lillianna, Theodore and Amari Warner. Maryann also leaves behind nine siblings, Pasquale Celico of Florida, Franklin Celico, James Celico, Joseph Celico, Ann Marie Faubert and Robert Celico, all of Westerly, Josie Navin of Mystic, Carolyn Graham of Colorado, and Dr. Brian Celico of Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two siblings, Christina Mackin and Mario Celico.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4pm-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
