Obituary for James E. Magill
James E. Magill, beloved husband for 57 years of Terrie (Conjura) Magill, of Langworthy Road, Westerly, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. He was 76.
Born in Hollis, New York, he was the son of the late James H. and Anne Magill.
James was employed as a technician for Hayes Handpiece for many years until his retirement. He had previously served for four years in the U.S. Coast Guard followed by 22 years in the reserves. He was an avid sailor who relished every minute on the water with his fellow sailors.
In addition to his wife Terrie, he leaves behind two sons, J. Gregory Magill and Corey Davyd Magill; two grandchildren, Sydnei Huffman and Riley Magill; and a great-granddaughter Presley.
In lieu flowers, donations to the ASPCA are welcomed.
