Obituary for Robert "Robbie" N LaMotte
Robert N. “Robbie” LaMotte, of Bowling Lane, Bradford, passed away at Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts on Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was 54.
Born in Westerly, he was the beloved son of Selma LaMotte of Bradford and the late Stephen LaMotte.
Rob was a lifelong Bradford resident and a mason by trade, working with concrete & other materials. He enjoyed planting and taking care of the family vegetable garden each year. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Selma; five brothers, Stephen LaMotte, Michael LaMotte, Harold LaMotte, John LaMotte and Pete LaMotte; three sisters, Deborah Bilby, Denise Barton and Ellie Snow; his longtime girlfriend Jill Bucklin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Robbie was predeceased by his sister Suzanne LaMotte and his nephew Donny.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service that will be held for Rob on Saturday, December 3 at 12pm at Chariho Southern Baptist Church, 80 Alton-Bradford Rd., Bradford. There will be fellowship and a potluck meal after the memorial service. Please consider bringing a covered dish or your favorite dessert. Any food items brought will be greatly appreciated.
