Obituary for Letitia F. Bogue (Pellegrino)
Letitia F. (Pellegrino) Bogue, of Spring Street, Westerly, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her home with family by her side. She was 101 years old.
Born in Acri, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Maria Pellegrino.
Devoted to her faith and family, Letitia was a loving wife to her late husband Nathan R. Bogue who predeceased her in 2008; and loving mother to Frederick J. Bogue and wife Jennifer of Pawcatuck and Mary Ella Dubreuil of Riverside, RI. Letitia will be dearly remembered by her four grandchildren, Erika, Emily, Meredith and Rachel; and by her five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Eamonn, Gates, Freddie June and Gus.
Mrs. Bogue worked in Quality Control for The Moore Company for many years and was a lifetime communicant of St. Pius X Church. She was a longtime member of the Legion of Mary as well as the Rosary and Altar Society. She walked in the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel procession for 64 consecutive years.
Letitia’s wish was to remain in her home throughout her lifetime. The family would like to thank the dedicated healthcare team and loyal friends who made that possible.
Visiting hours will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Tuesday from 9a.m. - 10:30a.m., immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly. Burial will take place at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly. In lieu of flowers, donations in Letitia’s memory can be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or Beacon Hospice.
