Obituary for Walter H. Bariteau
Walter H. Bariteau, 74, beloved husband of Barbara A. (Shulda) Bariteau, of School Street, Westerly, passed away at the Westerly Hospital on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Romeo and Beatrice Bariteau.
Walter worked for Mystic Color Lab for years and was a rabid NY Yankee fan. He also loved riding his Harley. He was a US Army veteran who served in Germany during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Barbara; five children, Walter L. Bariteau (Silena), Steven K. R. Bariteau (Chrystal), Jamie T. Bariteau, Billie-Jo Bariteau, and Kristopher Bariteau; two siblings, Romeo Bariteau (Mary Margaret) and Sally LaBrosse (Marc); as well as eight grandchildren, Bethany, Brittany, Brandon, Jesse James, Kiana, Brett, Brigitte and Hunter; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
