Obituary for D'Ann M. Sposato
D’Ann Marilyn Sposato, of Emerald Street, Westerly, passed away at the Westerly Hospital on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the age of 79.
Born and raised in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Frances and Carl J. Sposato, Sr.
D’Ann graduated from Boston University in 1965. She worked as a Computer Analyst for IBM in Westchester, NY for over 20 years. She then became the owner of Carroll-Condit Art Gallery in White Plains, New York where she was a resident for over 20 years. D’Ann returned home to Westerly upon retirement.
She was an avid baker who enjoyed knitting and bird watching, as well as attending weekly paint class with her friends at the Westerly Senior Center.
She is survived by her brother Carl Sposato, Jr. and his wife Susan of Yardley, PA; niece Hiver McKnight and her husband Brent, as well as grandniece Hadley McKnight and grandnephew Grant McKnight, all of West Chester, PA; and several cousins.
