Obituary for Samuel S. DeCoste III
Samuel Seymour DeCoste III, 77, of Bradford, passed away peacefully at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence on Saturday, January 7, 2023, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Samuel and Virginia DeCoste.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Dawn (Rick) Clark, Karen (Larry) Drake and Tammy DeCoste; his loving grandchildren, Benjamin and Brittany Clark, and Jacob and Rachel Drake, all of Westerly; and several brothers and sisters.
Sam retired from Electric Boat after 45 years of service as an Electrician. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He enjoyed feeding all the birds in his backyard daily.
The family would like to thank the Smilow Cancer Center of Waterford, CT and HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence for their wonderful care.
