Obituary for Richard O. "Dick" St. Sauveur
Richard O. “Dick” St. Sauveur, of West Street, Westerly, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the age of 81.
Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Oliver and Edna St. Sauveur.
Dick worked as an administrative aide at Electric Boat in Groton, CT. A US Coast Guard veteran, he was also a life member of the VWW Harley P. Chase Post, a member of the Westerly Armory, the Workmen’s Club, and a former member of the Bocce Club. He had also previously volunteered with the Dunns Corners and Westerly Fire Departments.
He leaves behind his sister Sandra St. Sauveur of Westerly; a niece Jaime Nutting and her husband Justin of Narragansett; as well as his great-nephew Levi and great-niece Lilly. Dick was predeceased by his sister Susan Pihlkrantz and brother-in-law Gary Pihlkrantz; and niece Grya Pihlkrantz.
