Obituary for Alfred J. Cartier Jr.
Alfred J. Cartier, Jr., 68, beloved husband of Jennie (Witt) Cartier, of Bradford, passed away at his home on February 22, 2023.
Born in Warwick, RI, Al was the son of the late Gloria Caniglia Cartier and Alfred J. Cartier, Sr.
Alfred worked as a plumber/pipefitter for most of his life. Al’s love of family and adventure even brought him to Isfahan, Iran working for Northrup/Grumman in 1977. After several years spent in Florida, Al returned to Rhode Island and spent several years working with Electric Boat in Quonset Point. Al enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as working on his vehicles and riding on his Harley Davidson.
Besides his wife Jennie he leaves three children, Peter Cartier (Suzanna), Mark Barnard and Manny Rogowski; two siblings, Brian Cartier and Deborah Cartier Olson; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
