Obituary for Jean E. McLaughlin (Skidgel)
Jean E. (Skidgel) McLaughlin, 84, of Cross Street, Westerly, passed away on February 21, 2023. She was the wife of the late William McLaughlin.
Jean worked as a supervisor for Bess Eaton for many years. She was a very strong-willed woman who loved spending quality time with her family.
She will be dearly missed by her five granddaughters, including Rachel Freemer (Karie); twelve great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and one due in May. Jean also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son William McLaughlin, her daughter Laura McLaughlin, and her son Scott McLaughlin; as well as eight siblings.
