Obituary for Peter A. Fidrych
Peter A. Fidrych, beloved husband of Lori (Pray) Fidrych of Westerly, passed away at Westerly Hospital on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the age of 64.
He was the son of Valerie Fidrych of Stonington, and the late Alfred Fidrych. He is predeceased by his brother, Mark Fidrych of Westerly.
Along with his wife Lori, he will be dearly missed by his three children, Krystal (Tim) Delicato of Stonington, Jillian (Joseph) Trelli of Pawcatuck and Christopher (Marybeth) Fidrych of N. Kingstown. Peter also leaves behind his siblings, Paul (Dorothy) Fidrych of Ledyard, CT, Michael (Lisa) Fidrych of Stonington, and sister-in-law Joy Fidrych of Westerly; five cherished grandchildren, Morgan, Alec, Garrett, Ezra and Luke; and many nieces and nephews.
Peter worked as a carpenter for CT Union #326 for over 40 years. He was a longtime friend of Bill W. Peter will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, birdwatching, his three cats, Disney World, travel, food, and the tremendous love he had for his family. He had a contagious passion for life and a heart that overflowed with kindness. He had an incredible ability to make everyone feel valued, and his sense of humor brought joy to all those around him.
Peter's passing is a great loss to all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched with his warmth and kindness. He will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
