Catherine “Kay Kay” Ann (Cillino) Alfiero of Westerly, passed away on Thursday, March 16th, 2023 at the age of 87, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Frank “Lefty” Alfiero, Jr., who predeceased her in 2018.

Born in Westerly in 1935, she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Louise Cillino.

Kay Kay enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, knitting, and playing Bingo and cards with her club girls! She will be remembered for her kind and generous nature, and her love of family.

She leaves three children, Linda Lidestri and husband John, Frank Alfiero III and wife Suzanne, and Cathy Alfiero; a brother Samuel Cillino; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Cillino and Virginia Cillino; seven grandchildren, Kyle Gaccione, Kate (Ian) Smith, Frank (Josephine) Alfiero IV, Theresa Alfiero and Scott Kolp, Andrew Alfiero, Jeffrey (Alyssa) Kaplan, Jenna Kaplan; three beloved great-grandchildren, Clara and Owen Smith, Kara Alfiero; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Marion Pescatello, and brothers, Romeo “Junie” Cillino and Peter Sam Cillino.

The family would like to thank the Westerly Health and Rehabilitation Center for their compassion and care in her final days.
