Obituary for Marjorie M. Moshier (Jarvis)
Marjorie M. (Jarvis) Moshier, 78, loving wife for 57 years of Larry L. Moshier, Sr., of Brookside Lane, Pawcatuck, passed away at L&M Hospital on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Born in Hope Valley, RI, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Jarvis.
Marjorie worked as a crossing guard for the Stonington School System for many years. She loved playing Bingo and was very active at the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. She could often be found sitting outside, enjoying the company of her friends.
In addition to her husband, she leaves four children, Tom Moshier (Ruth) of Groton, CT, Laura Stott (Christopher) of Bradford, Cathy Klose (Scott) of Bedford, NH, and Larry Moshier Jr. (Kimberly) of Eastampton, NJ; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her two sisters, Sarah and Mary.
Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service at 11am on Thursday, Sept. 21 at Wood River Cemetery, 85 Nooseneck Hill Rd., Richmond, RI.
