Obituary for Judith A. Riske (Lis)
Judith A. (Lis) Riske, of Sunrise Ave., Pawcatuck, passed away peacefully at the Westerly Hospital on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at the age of 79. She was the wife of the late Roland F. Riske.
Born in New London, CT, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mari Lis.
Judith worked for Stop & Shop in administration for many years. She enjoyed crafting, gardening and her cats. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind her two children, Roland Riske and wife Denise of Inman, SC and Rhandi Ann Riske of Pawcatuck; sister Holly Wheeler of Westerly; four grandchildren, Nicole Dawson, Ethan Avery, Mathew Riske, and Megan Rick ; and four great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Lilah, Hunter and JR. Judith was predeceased by her sister Christine Melvan; her brother Joseph Lis; and granddaughter Krystal Riske.
