Obituary for Qina Qi Chan
Qina Qi Chan, of Westerly, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday Oct 13, 2016 at the age of 60. Born in Canton, she was the daughter of Lit Yeung Chik and the late Hua Mo. She was the beloved wife of Kin Ping Chan for 36 years.
Qina enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending quality time with friends and family. A devoted mother and loving partner, she spent her years caring for others. She took great joy in lending a helping hand to anyone in need and was renowned for spreading laughter and happiness to those around her.
In addition to her husband and father, she leaves behind three daughters: Helen Chan, Betty Chan and Carol Chan. She is also survived by three sisters and three brothers. Qina was predeceased by her mother, a younger sister and an older brother.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Oct 18th, from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce Street, Westerly. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
