Obituary for Joanne B. "Joebea" Veal (Startz)
N. Stonington, CT - Joanne B. “Jobea” Veal, 64, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
Born in Wickford, RI, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Lillian Startz.
She enjoyed working with the developmentally disabled and made it a large part of her life’s work. Joanne also enjoyed collecting porcelain pigs. Joann was always there for her family in their time of need.
She leaves her husband Paul Veal; two sons, James Veal of Westerly and Josh Veal of N. Stonington; and a grandson Justin Veal.
