Carmela "Cam"  Piccolo (Vuono)
Carmela “Cam” (Vuono) Piccolo, 87, of Beach Street, Westerly, passed away at Royal Westerly on Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Piccolo.

Born in Westerly she was a daughter of the late Natale and Rose Vuono.

Cam worked as a Produce Clerk for McQuades Marketplace for many years. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Pawcatuck and a lifetime social member of the Westerly Yacht Club. She enjoyed dancing and bargain hunting.

She leaves four children, Gregory Piccolo (Julia) of N. Stonington, Lynn M. Sasso (Anthony) of Madison, CT, John A. Piccolo (Kathleen) of Westerly and Robert Piccolo (Kendra) of Rochester, NH; three siblings, Natale Vuono of Maryland, Louise Card of Ashaway and Lillian Vacca of Westerly; and former daughter-in-law Lisa Jusseaume Piccolo of Tiverton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Alicia, Jessica, Joseph, Kayla and Haley Piccolo, Kathryn and Matthew Sasso, and Isaac and Lila Bailey; as well as a great grandchild Riley Piccolo and many nieces and nephews. Cam was predeceased by a sister Frances Johnson.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Funeral service and burial will be private.
