Obituary for Nicola F. Algiere
Nicola F. Algiere, 75, of Norwich, CT, passed away at WW Backus Hospital on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
Born in New London, he was a son of the late Joseph and Bertha Algiere.
For many years he worked as a Truck Driver for Andrews Trucking where he enjoyed traveling to different areas.
He leaves behind a daughter Traci Algiere of Norwich; three brothers, Walter, Joseph (Marie), and Thomas (Linda) and families, as well as his sister Helen Nigrelli (Domenic) and family, all of Westerly; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and former wife Ann Grispino and family of Pawcatuck.
A visiting hour will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Tuesday from 11am-12pm, immediately followed by a funeral service at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be private. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
