Obituary for Bernice V. Carboni
Bernice Carboni of Westerly, RI, passed away peacefully at RI Hospital on September 16, 2017 at the age of 69.
Bernice was the daughter of Lepio and Mary Yolanda Carboni. Her brothers Carl and Ronald Carboni of Westerly survive her along with her sister-in-law Joann N. Carboni. In addition, she leaves her nieces, Carla Petrocelli (Robert), Marcy Bunte (Dan), Nikki Lamb (Zach), of Westerly and her nephew Dean Carboni of Sherrills Ford, NC; and her great nieces and nephews, Avery, Brynn, Ella and Alyssa Lamb, Alison, Nicholas and Robert Petrocelli, and Lily Bunte all of whom brought great joy to her later years will also miss Bernice.
She worked as a keypunch operator at Electric Boat for Computer Sciences Corporation until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of The Calabrese Club in Westerly.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High Street, Westerly. There is no procession to church from the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
