Esperanza  Ozanne (Perez)
Esperanza (Perez) Ozanne, 91, of Barre, Vermont passed away at the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Berlin, Maryland, on Monday May 28, 2018.

Esperanza was the daughter of the late Jose and Almerida Perez of Barre, Vermont. She was the wife of the late John William Ozanne Sr. She had two children, the late Michael Ozanne of Binghamton, NY and John William Ozanne Jr, of Pocomoke City, MD. Esperanza also has two grandchildren, Trevor Justin Ozanne, of Hauppauge, NY, and Erin Heffron of Syracuse, NY. In addition to her grandchildren she has three great grandchildren, Eric and Talia Ozanne, and Liam Heffron.

Espie, as she was known to her friends, was an avid bingo and card player. Her hobbies included cross stitch, needlepoint, knitting, crochet, and ceramics. Espie enjoyed viewing rocket launches from the Wallops Fight Facility, where she became well known to many of the scientists and engineers working on the missions.
Espie worked as an accounts receivable clerk at the Montgomery Wards in Barre, Vermont where she met her late husband of forty one years. She was retired from the Stop and Shop video department in Westerly, Rhode Island. Esperanza was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will be dearly missed by her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside Funeral Service at River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach St., Westerly, RI on Tuesday at 11am.
